Groundbreaking for new school building on Ocracoke Island, NC, October 22, 2021, hosted by Stephen Basnight, Superintendent of Hyde County Schools. The new building will replace the main school building destroyed by Hurricane Dorian, Sept. 6, 2019. This new building, pictured at the end of the video, should be ready for occupancy by Spring 2023.
